As there have been numerous people asking questions in relation to Kalypso's layout and storage spaces, today I will be showcasing Kalypso the motorhome! Click on the YouTube Vlog for a tour.
A little bit about Kalypso:
Kalypso can seat & sleep up to six people, which is great as we can cater for a small group of people on a Destination Sacred Grounds retreat trip!
She's built on the VW Crafter chassis with a turbo diesel engine and automatic transmission and comes with two living & dining areas, kitchen facilities as well as a bathroom.
The first sleeping area in Kalypso is above the cab which makes her a ‘C’ class motorhome. This is a permanently made up sleeping space for myself and Kali. Another great thing about this space is that we can draw the curtains and close off our entire bedroom.
The front living & dining area is a café design. This means we have a centered dinette with the entire area also having the ability to transform into a second sleeping area.
Next to the entry door is the kitchen which stretches up the mid section of the motorhome. Within this space we have a stove top, oven, grill, three way fridge, microwave and ample storage space can also be found and utilized.
The bathroom is a combination design which means we have the toilet, shower and drop down vanity in the one closed off room.
The rear area gives us a large U shaped lounge and centered dinette (which has been taken out) will also convert into a very comfortable and relaxing bed when needed.
